Does anybody know anything about Hydrostatic Gas and how close electrical items can be to where it is stored.

Hydrostatic just means it's not moving. Any gas could be hydrostatic gas and any fluid can be hydrostatic fluid.

The Wikipedia article refers to hydrostatic testing of gas cylinders, a federal DOT requirement in the US, and likely other jurisdictions worldwide. It does not refer to any characteristic of the gas in the cylinder or storage requirements or restrictions thereof. And looking at cadpoint's post, are we talking about gas as in nitrogen or oxygen, or gasoline for your internal combustion engine?
