Here is a link and I'll attach a pdf file for more reading

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_cylinder

The Wikipedia article refers to hydrostatic testing of gas cylinders, a federal DOT requirement in the US, and likely other jurisdictions worldwide. It does not refer to any characteristic of the gas in the cylinder or storage requirements or restrictions thereof. And looking at cadpoint's post, are we talking about gas as in nitrogen or oxygen, or gasoline for your internal combustion engine?

I'll give the answer correctly to K8MHZ, if my posting of a UL statement is incorrect as to the exact nature of the OP, well I' guess I'm wrong again :)
