Got it basically ......... 50% on fastened in place 80% on non fastened in placed.

what if..

120- 20a circuit

10 amp fastened in place and 9 amp non fastened in place.
or
16 amp non fastened in place and 3 amp fastened in place.

Is this correct ?
do these combo 50%-80% apply?

You could have 10 amps and 10 amps on a 20 amp circuit if one is fastened in place. Also if you have two fastened in place then you can load up to 20 amps on the 20 amp circuit, 11/9, 12/8, 15/5, etc.
