Still not getting it.
Looking at 680-25
The 10 wire is a feeder....Right?
If it was a circuit I could use nm inside the building......
But since it's feeding the outdoor intermatic panel it's a feeder and would require the mc ???
Not doubting.....just trying to get this.

A feeder supplying swimming pool equipment can NOT be MC, AC or NM. It must be in PVC, Rigid or IMC with an insulated EGC. The exception allows EMT or ENT to be used within the dwelling.

Actually I guess MC is now acceptable according to the 2011 NEC. It was not in previous additions.
