I do work in retail stores and we can get 20' aluminum "power poles" that are UL listed and have separate compartments for power and data.
Not the cheapest way to go but they come painted and look better than pipe and strut.
That is a darn good question, as long as the MC is not stripped the 2x3 aluminum is not anymore a raceway than the space between studs. There is an exception for supports when cables are fished.Originally posted by d and o:
