I have questions about 12 volt lines for cctv

What are the requirements for the rg59 and its 12 volt power cable.

In for example, an autobody enviroment where the DVR is in the office and cameras are out side on the building. Must I put the cables in conduit or can I fasten them to the cement building near the roof (outside). can I use hangers in drop ceilings or again must I use conduit here as well?

Also, any place on the net where I can read all about low voltage (cctv 12 volts in particular) ?

Tim I have a feeling that you are not an electrican and as a Tech, you are wanting to run some coax.
Even though this is 12v, there still is considerable risk from fire, due to the improper penetration of firewalls and flammable cable.
Outside there is exposure to lightning.
And many locations require permits and inspection.
But all the answers you need are in NEC Article 820.
