Last week on a job I did the unthinkable. I really didnt have a choice, in my defense. It is hard for me to say it so I will just blurt it out.....I put 2 wires in one hole, 3 different times....What shall my penence? be, Father?

Only 2 wires?? Must have been an awfully small hole.

I (well four guys) pulled ~10k' of 12/2 NM in two days, through 16 holes.... 75'-150' or so runs, thorugh 2" holes, with 8 each. Bottle of wire lube on each floor...

Before you ask - they are all fixed lighting loads limited to under 1200w....

The end doesn't look mushroomed either! Couldn't push it by hand any further?

That mark about 3 inched in looks like the mark I get when I use a hammer drill to put the rod in place.
Either that, or someone thought it was water pipe, and tried to cut it with a tubing cutter.

Ifr thats the case a few blows with a real hammer would've got it down the next few inches... The difference being a bunch of light BPM's or some inertia with some heavy harder blows - since there is no mushroom - it just says "lazy" to me.

Cables in framing - or conductors in a breaker. In either case was lubrication used, and did you pull them back out or leave them in? DETAILS! MORE DETAILS!
The holes were in the top plate above a panel in a laundry room.. I would of posted this sooner but I had to wait for the drywallers to cover it up I felt bad talking about it while they could still be seen...I cant see it now so it is kinda like there is no proof I did it.....Maybe I didnt...It might just be a bad dream.........And just to let you all know, when I fish wires in finished walls I only put one wire per hole.......

35 pound demo hammer with a driver bit. Went right thru a couple layers of asphalt and 7'8" of hard soil in less than 2 minutes. I let it hammer for another two minutes trying to finish it off and it didn't move a fraction of an inch.

Not being lazy, it just wasn't gonna happen.

Maybe you hit something hard.

Were the wires covered with sheathing or a raceway of some sort? What is the transgression here?

I think we've been set up. I was picturing a ground bar. :)

I would never cut off a ground rod. I just keep driving more until one finally drives. The ground may look like Pinhead's skull, but it's legal.

A prostate examine ,..

Procedure
The man is advised that a finger needs to be inserted into their rectum in order to examine the prostate gland.
Usually the man is asked to stand, feet apart, face the examination couch and bend forward so that arms or elbows are on the couch.
The doctor will put on a surgical glove and will cover a finger in lubricant

The doctor will most likely say that you will feel a little pressure but no discomfort

The finger will be inserted in a downwards angle as if pointing to the umbilicus (belly button)
A few seconds may elapse as the doctor waits for the external sphincter muscle to relax
You may be aware of some movement of the finger before it is removed. The doctor will probably tell you they are going to remove their finger and then offer you some tissue to wipe the lubricant from the anus and buttocks. What The Doctor is Examining
The doctor moves their finger in a circular motion in order to identify the lobes and groove of the prostate gland. In a normal sized prostate gland they would expect to find the prostate around 2-4 cm long and triangular in shape. They would also expect the prostate to feel firm and rubbery.

I know what that is.

I also know what it isn't, and that would be a "prostrate exam" as it was called by to OP.

The thing that amused me about this was how splinetto started a rant thread about how people say undercounter instead of underabinet and in this thread he does the exact thing he's complaining about only with a different word.

I bet there is a thread on Web Md about how people say prostrate instead of prostate.

Scott ,..I figured as much ,..but after reading that procedure ,.. I had to share it :) Next time I'm in a crawl space I'll remember that somewhere, at the same moment ,..there is a Dr. doing this " procedure " ,..then the crawl space won't seem so bad:grin:
