I don't know about PA, but in Utah for example, when the IRC was adopted a qualification was included that in the case of conflict between the IRC and the NEC, the NEC would prevail.

Without similar rules or amendments in PA, I would guess that where the two codes have overlapping scope, if there is a conflict, the most restrictive would prevail. But, that's just my hunch.

Hey, California is special we have our own color!!!! Well along with Hawaii

And that's because we're still using the 1997 UBC with CA amendments.

Were only 7 years behind
