Hey guys, just a thought. If it had been a slide in range (cooktop and oven combo) with the same kw ratings would there have been the any question?

Honestly....Thats how I have always done them.....Do it that way and no issues would really arrise...

And because of a faulty CB?

Having said that when I did my house I ran 2 seperate circuits.
 
i am really now confuse . start doubting my self . after looking at T 220.55 and 210.19 A 3 note 4 . total amp is 33.33 . i guess my 40amp existing main breaker is going to work just fine .... 0r
 
Be sure and check for any local ammendments that might prohibit this.
In TN we have to run separate circuits for separate cooking units.
