If you are actually getting those, I would say that's pretty good, compared to what market bears here. Make me want to move to Fort Lauderdale and set up shop! e/m.jrannis said:$100.00 to $125.00 per outlet, switch or basic recessed fixture. GFCI, AFI,Smokes $150 to $175.00 owner provides surface mounted fixtures.
$800.00 to $1,200 for subpanel if needed.
Fort Lauderdale area (owner has to dig the basement and waterproof it)
Not clear what the arrangement is. Does he actually do the work with you once you have the jos, or just helps you with estimating jobs, and then you go ahead and do them? e/m.BATMAN2007 said:This is great! It was definitely helpful. I've resently taken a few jobs, and through the help of a co-worker, that is a senior electrician, was able to quote these job's out. But, i'm always left with the minimal amount. Mainly because he feels that because he has seniority he should receive more. I always thought that because I was getting the jobs, I would be entitled to an equal share, BOY was I wrong. Needless to say, I can do the smaller jobs, but my lack of quoting experience, usually had left me with no other alternative but to get help from someone that knows more about pricing out the jobs. Is that website, where I can get this spreadsheet from? Thanks again.

A little low for my part of the world. Lots of people want things for free, including me!! Sounds like you have the same boss /employee relationship that I do.1793 said:I know it is very difficult to get a good answer to this question but I?m going to ask for Kicks & Giggles. What kind of price would you give for the following:
Basement remodel, all stud, wood, walls engineered beams, panel is in the basement.
Basement divided into 6 rooms or spaces. The finished rooms, 4 are: 13 x 18, 20 x 11, 25 x 18 and 25 x 19.
There are 24 recess lights, 30 duplex Decora receptacles, 7 switches and 3 3ways.
Minimum of three new circuits.
I shot a price of $3,000.00 to $3,500.00.
My response to these numbers, I feel, was not well received.
So, how far off was I?
