ideas for accessing lights above pool

A boom lift, my friend.
The same one painters and welders can hit 60' up with. A little less scary than a scissor lift on a pontoon, for cripes sake..
Someone in your town has the reach you need- just call equipment rentals.

That would be my choice.

Ever since I bought my 65’ JLG, I use that even when I don’t have to. Unfortunately I have to pay to get it hauled, or I’d probably use it for single story masts and weather heads. 😳😂

If it fits through the doors, you could keep it in one spot for alot of work..
Even with booties on the wheels, still need some fiberboard...
That is one hell of a pool btw...

Given that the pool is going to be drained, you might be able to get it done with a lift like this, which has pretty small-footprint and uses a tank of compressed air to send people up. Back in my undergrad days, I had to use one of these to replace several blown fuses in our swimming scoreboard during a break in the conference championship meet. Why the Colorado System4 and 3009SB combination would blow fuses when switching between the swimming and diving programs is something nobody ever solved, but my EE stockroom manager loved when I came running over in a panic and needed five of 'em :D

Well since the op is'nt chiming in i'll assume he has a game plan but through experiance with these facilities, i'll bet there is a double door w/a removable center jamb...

Or there will be one soon. Probably cheaper to create an opening than to pay for contractors to jump through hoops every time something needs to be done to the ceilings. Pays in the long run.

I got hbiss!
Lets start the bet at $5000!!
(Usbsbc)...

So, what's the good idea?
There were about 3 fixtures over the water that we couldn't get to. One of my guys climbed to the top of the slide and threw a rope over the truss. We made a chair from a piece of 2x12 and hoisted him up. I asked the GC to leave for the day while I did this! LOL
