I have ordered the IEC 60079-14 standards, for an inquiry were they specify the installation to be done per IEC 60079-14, but will not receive any time soon. So I was hoping y'all could get me started.
First I wanted to confirm if I am able to use Rigid Metalic Conduit for this type of installation or if i have to use cable tray, cable glands with appropriate cables. Either way will not be a problem but I just want to make sure I follow the IEC standard specified.
(We usually use NEC methods)

Is the installation in the US? IEC 60079-14 is used outside the US/Canada. RMC is not common. Preferred wiring methods are Armored cable/MCHL.
