IEC 60204 Safety Of Machinery light stack requirements

Hello all,

I'm trying to find which article in the IEC60204 Safety Of Machinery that states a machines has to have a light stack.

Indicating Towers

Indicating Towers

They're referenced as Indicating Towers. Check out 10.3 for color and order of appearance on the tower. Their use is typically a fallout of a risk assessment, whereby the need for informing an operator of the status of the machine is necessary. One doesn't HAVE to have an Indicating Tower, but it may be considered by some as an industry best practice.
