Does anyone know if anyone makes a orange GFCI. I need to protect some lab IG recp.'s, and the customer doesn't want a gfci brkr.

Re: IG GFCI?

Bryan, That would defeat the purpose of the isolated ground. The only solution I am aware of is a GFCI breaker.

Re: IG GFCI?

If the faceless GFCI was used, does the isolated EGC have to terminate in the faceless GFCI if the regular EGC were to terminate in the faceless GFCI and both regular EGC and isolated EGC were to continue along through to the downstream isolated receptacles?
I would also ask if the isolated receptacles were needed, as they generally are not worth the effort.

Faceless, why didn't I think of that. Good idea, Thanks, BP.

Are they ever really needed, lol. Engineering BS.
>>>engineering quote "Well, they are for computers, we need them."

Re: IG GFCI?

As long as the diry ground stays isolated, I don't see why that would not work.
