I like to think that its my responsibility to be here, due to the nature of my work. The wife doesn't bother me too much. Sometimes she will drop a subtle hint like,

Mabey the kitchen wouldn't have caught fire if you weren't glued to that computer.

Yeah what an honor-- my wife left me , my kids hate me even my mother won't admit I'm hers. :grin:

I'm not addicted, either. I can quit any time I'm in a coma.

I only have 6.32 posts a day. What can I say? I'm a slacker.

My wife calls this my "Geek Forum". I have informed her that there are no geeks on this forum, only electricians and engineers. She thinks I spend too much time here but she is learning some things herself in spite of herself!!One of the things I miss about industry is hanging out with other electricians. This forum gives me a chance to do that. Addicting?? I don't think so. Fun and informative. Definately.

I spend a lot of time in the field, but when I get back in the office it's usually the first place I go, plus I get paid.:grin: Also, I love the searches, anytime I have a headscratcher, someone has already posted the question and usually there are several pages of responses. MH forum rules!

You use a boat for fishing? We just walk right out on the lake, set up the ice shanty, fire up the heater, and auger a hole or two down to where the water is.
 
I'm honored to share the same addiction with the rest of you!:grin: I don't have the post #'s that would indicate a problem, just a wife who'd like to spend more time together. She refers to it as electrical porn but I tell her this much porn would quickly kill any relationship..............Maybe tomorrow would be good day to pick up some flowers on the way home!
