I see NY and NJ have the highest wages. But it also costs a fortune to live here so it's all relative.

Top 10% of top area means nothing if you don't work but a few hours each week.

On the other hand, some work is better than no work.

I'm finding out that work is a blessing--and being rewarded for it is, too.

HArdly a fir comparison, In Norther VA we make (IBEW) 36.00+ an hour 50 miles west of here that wage drops drastically (IBEW).

State to state does not work.

Even within the same state it doesn't work that well. In Illinois there is at least a $20/hr spread between the highest and lowest IBEW package rates.

My state is number 1, that said, one would have to understand all the intricate parts that make it that way. We are over the top expensive in our stores vs "down in America", by as much as twice on average needs (groceries, etc).

Thanks, I'll contact my mortgage broker for my reduction.

I could by a similar 4/3 in Georgia for 100 grand less than this house is worth. I know, we have been looking for a couple years.

From reading the posts, compared to the standard wage in America.
For the most part, the members on this forum have the highest pay
on average. That tells me that those with education and dedication
reap the awards.
