Does anyone know what set of electrical standards are in place in India?

Does anyone know what set of electrical standards are in place in India?

Based on pictures I've seen they don't abide by any standards at all.

But my guess would be that they are still using the British standard, as most of the former British colonies retained their standards to one degree or another.
