Was the Delta/Wye phase shift for harmonics or power factor? If harmonics with a six pulse, I'm curious about the 5th and 7th
Yes we did. We used six pulse SCR arrangement with star for one and delta on the other. It was significantly more efficient than a cage machine. That attribute was very particularly beneficial in the water industry.

So effectively by dual feeding the motor the 6 pulse was acting like a 12 pulse?
Yes. I meant two three AC lines on the two different bridge circuits. One star, one delta.
