insecticide on equipment

i used some powdered insecticide (delta dust/drion) around my electrical service a few years ago. I opened up the meter can today and noticed a white residue coating the interior components and I was concerned. Im doubting there is a code reference to this but but I was wondering:

Is pesticide powder like this conductive? or otherwise corrosive to be used around electrical equipment?

I think its suggested to use these types of insecticides instead of sprays when working around electricity (in outlets switch boxes etc) so I am assuming it is safe.

What do you think?

I’ll lock this post as this person has opened the meter can, and we don’t know if he is qualified to do so his occupation is shown as retired. The the OP, access to the meter can is strictly controlled by the POCO.
