Inspector climbing a ladder

Where I'm at, there's no legal requirement that any special jobsite access provisions be in place. If I could get there to wire it, the inspector needs to figure out a way to get in there to inspect it. How he does that is his problem, not mine. If he doesn't want to get his shoes muddy, shirt dirty, or is too much of a pansy to climb a ladder, then maybe he should figure out a different line of work. "Please pull forward to the first window", as one possible idea.
Exactly! Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What exactly is a t-bar?

Another term for "Ceiling Grid"

Roger

Ok I was thinking it was something else. Thanks Roger

Were you thinking of something like this?

Now see you guys all ruined my answer about it being a bar that's shaped like a T.

Actually the correct term is "suspended ceiling grid" or something along those lines.

i will climb ladders, for sure.
i have left corrections like "provide safe access" when contractor builds some crazy stair contraption.
btw-
i would not sign off above ceiling if tiles were in place. i want to see it all , there is other stuff up there besides the electrical you know... and you can't see jack from looking above one tile , or two , or three , or four (you can see where this is going)

I agree with you. Would you climb a ladder to look above a ceiling that could have been looked at before the tile was layed in because the GC didn't wan't to wait because of his schedule?
