Jim PM me with the name I have contacts in that county and I`ll find out who he is.I`m no lawer but I`d say the primary responsible party would be the EC,since afforded the option to dispute the required change. Then the county IE: the inspector.

Before I moved here I worked for the NYCTA on subway trains doing emergency response to disabled trains in and out of service. If we did something that caused the injury or death to a passenger we would be crimanally liable.I don`t think this would be any different. If someone went into a home and made flying splices in the walls that caught fire and killed someone they would be the responsible party.Culpliable negligence is the term I believe it is called.

well times are changing. (somewhat). Here in Naples Fl. and the county it is in Collier (11 electrical inspectors, 3 electrical plans examiners for the county) the price of admission just went up. Entry level for both city and county went up to about 22.00 and change. So now because of the pay hike they can hire guys in their later years who are gettin tired (physically and mentally) and they can cruise with a decent pay and in some cases their first retirement and health insurance bennies without paying an arm and a leg. So what does the county do but hire a 6 year (6 years get out of here) residential piece worker (yes I said piece worker). If he even gets his state "Provisional" license with that experience will be a miracle but lets say he does (stranger things have happened). With that license he will give grief for 3 years (no test passed, no inspector after 3 years) then be gone.
Oh by the way, if you do not work for a municipality or county government you cannot get a provisional license so what most do is work for them first get their licenses then work for a private provider (alot more money). This is a Florida thing, don't know about any other state.

Have a Great Day,
Andrew
