Call it big brother or simply applicable laws, it's the way it is.

If you don't like it, make an effort to change it, and even though you can and are allowed to vent all day long here, I hope you don't have the illusion that the lawmakers (or OSHA people) are hanging out reading the threads and will just change them because of your posts in disgust. :wink:

I personally don't have a problem with an agency trying to protect workers even though some rules and fines may seem excessive.

Lol na just another rule and trust me I have no delusions that things dont change with out help..I do understand how the wheel works and it is too bad that a few can screw it up for the many..besides this is not political forum and religion and politics are to very controversial subjects..LOl there has been alot of inspector humor here though..

Govermental bodies are exempt from OSHA regulations.

1910.2(c)
"Employer" means a person engaged in a business affecting commerce who has employees, but does not include the United States or any State or political subdivision of a State;
