We have been asked to installed CT's on 4 subpanels, 2- 480/277 and 2-208/120 for sub metering. Is there any reason on the 208/120 we cannot simply install the CT's in the xfmr as it has far more space? Or even all of them in the MDP and then read the primary of the 208/120 as the transformer loss is negligible? Can we zip tie the CT's to the feeders so as to give them some sense of dignity and not just flop around? :?

I would think mdp better. Dont mention losses in transformer negligible they will fight over that
