I figured with cam, carb modifications and old type ignition(?) that it may not be the quickest to fire up when cold. :)

Bob, actually by 67 HD had gone to a modern style distributor (auto advancing) system.

When I had it dialed in, I could walk by it and it would start. :)

I don't know about the "biggest-load-I-ever-carried-on-a-motorcycle" discussion, but I have carried a Shot Gun, Fishing Rod & Tackle, and Golf Clubs at one time or another on mine.

If you pack your bags right, you can get a whole shopping cart worth of groceries home too. :D

Hi, Roger.
You're not kidding, but now I'll have to work longer to pay it off quick.

The stitches are out, it's just a bit sore now. It's healing nicely. Thanx.

My bags, My Milwaukee fat pack, my lunch (two sandwiches, three sodas, bag of chips), Carhart hooded coat, 2' step ladder, water jug.

That was standard compliment daily (edit: except for the 2' ladder, that was once); for the last two summers. Took fifteen minutes in the morning, and 15 minutes after work to get ready to leave. Folding the bags into my saddleags every day was an art form. :D

Come on. After that testimony, I have to drop my offer to $1.75 do to the unknown strain on the suspention. :) (the free slap is still included :D )

And, 3 sodas and a water jug? I wouldn't get much work done after all of that.
