Haven't been around for a while. But good to see you are all still here.

Charlie thanks for the email, nice to know someone notices when you're not there. Been a rough year and a half personally and proffesionaly but all is well personally now. Proffesionally I am in a sort of limbo, on the verge of closing my business as the toll on my family is to great a burden to carry anymore. 12 Years of 24-7 electrical contracting is enough. I am negotiating with another contractor with the thought of joining his company and bringing my work to him for the time being.

I have seen my fair share of the trade some good some bad and lately more bad than there should be. I have decided to try to do something about it. I'm in the process of becoming a high school vocational teacher and let me say it is quite humbling. No better way than to find out you don't know as much as you think than to prepare for a test!

Charlie you're last post is less than encouraging I have to say but I am open to any thoughts and opinions you are willing to share. Having sat through several of your classes I know you are a high caliber teacher and have great respect for you.

Scott, Great to hear from you, many of us have missed your sense of humor and your direct 'say it how you see it' posts. Really sorry to hear your have been having some hard times.

It is good to see you post again. I can attest to some very terrible personal and professional times that occur at the same time, I myself went through just that.
Even though it seems as though it cannot get better, it can. With conviction on your part, hard, hard, hard effort, you can put it back together. If it means changing what you did in the past, do it. Change is extremely hard, but after succeeding in it, it is also extremely rewarding. Time and patience should be your best friend as you go through this change, remember "Rome was not built in a day"!!!

Good Luck!!!
