We have an existing 36"x24"x12" Stainless Steel enclosure that house some network equipment outdoors (Ethernet switch, fiber patch, UPS, etc). The equipment is currently overheating, so we are going to retrofit a Hoffman Compact T5 air conditioner. We also want to add in insulation inside the panel. Has anyone every done this or can recommend a product? I'm thinking of a self adhesive aluminum foil type insulation would be the easiest to install. Something similar you would stick onto a garage door for conditioned garages. Not sure if the below product could work. I've seen this before in large outdoor air conditioned VFD enclosures.
