Interesting cord size

Found this today on a new battery charger for a floor scrubber. New one to me, and it's not in the code book either. 23 amps is the nameplate, had a L6-30 plug on it, connected it to a 30 amp circuit.

SJT is listed in 400.4 and SJT11AWG is listed in 400.5(A)(1) 27 amps
 
Huh so it is, and a bunch of odd sizes. You guys see those odd Awg sizes much out there?
 

The only place I've ever seen it used is on refrigerated shipping containers. Usually 480 3ph. I think it had euro colored conductors inside. brown/black/gray/yel-green.
 
I have some 11awg cord that came in a bundle of stuff I bought off a guy. I just turned it into a regular extension cord. It has a real thick and stiff jacket. I use it to run across high traffic areas when needed.
