Interesting sign hookup

Saw this today at a restaurant I get breakfast at now and then. It is how they hooked up their menu board at the drive-up.

What's the problem 2" is SOP for anything communication/AV/signal or anything Low Voltage in my hood...

Look closer at where it connects to the sign post.

I see it, sad state of an electrical application by want-to-be electricians, I hate LOW voltage guys, I've seen tons of
their BS installs and they think it's all great & OK... They didn't even run it out far enough to align to post, wasted
a 90^ I'd of drilled a whole and routed wire inside the column. Rant over...

Top it off that cable looks to be a piece of NM.
