There has been a lot of discussion about bonding grounding electrode jumpers to the Intersystem Bonding Bridge. The consensus is that this is not allowed. Since this is not allowed, is there a device or fitting that will bond jumpers to the main GEC? This would avoid taking the jumpers all the way to the service equipment or an electrode.

the only thing that is allowed to connect to the bonding bridge are connections to the other systems, like cable, phone, etc.

what GEC jumpers would you want to terminate there anyway? I can't think of any that would be allowed.

Split bolt.

The permitted connection points for grounding electrode bonding jumpers are shown in 250.64(F). The only permissible splice point is a busbar not less than 1/4" x 2" with the conductors terminated to the busbar using a listed connector or exothermic welding (350.64(F)(3).

The intersystem bonding device is only listed for the connection of communication bonding conductors.

Do you have a link to one of these busbars?
