Got a situation where an inverter feeds a couple of branch ciruits.
The inverter is fed by batteries that are kept charge by utility power. When the power goes out the inverter runs the circuits for as long as the batteries last and that is it.
Does the inverter output need OCPD if the output conductors are sized of an ampacity that is greater than the outpur rating of the inverter?
