if anyone out there is considering using Invoice2Go software, allow
me to share my two cents worth....
i've been using it since 2012. sang it's praises loud and long.
not any more. they did a major update two years or so ago, and a lot of the
charm disappeared then, but it was ok.
over the weekend, they updated it again. holy chit. they destroyed the
functionality and it seems destroyed access to cloud data.
almost all of your data, including your individual invoices, is no longer accessible
to you. if you need full analysis of this debacle, you can check their facebook page,
or the reviews of the app on the app store.
if you are considering using it, run the other way, quickly.
this company is not three guys in a garage with an iphone app and a server connected
to their home network.
the company is currently valued at around US $100M. they are based in austrailia.
last year, they processed over ten billion dollars worth of invoices for 250,000 people
worldwide. i've personally got over three million in receipts on their system since 2012.
they just trashed the entire thing. i'm capturing this years invoices as they are still available.
i'm only really concerned about the last three years worth of invoices, personally.
but i'm pretty pissed in general.
