Irreversible splice requirement in PV junction box.

It is all about a willingness to look into points contractors bring up. "I am not sure. Let me look into that. Do you have a Code reference?"

As long as contractors point it out respectfully. "Do you mind if I explain my understanding of the Code?"

Good communication goes a long way.

I'm using #6 under the modules, since it wasn't that much more of a pain to do.

In either case, I've pinged them. I'll see if we get a response.

In the interests of time, it might be worth just sucking it up and spending an hour or two 'correcting' it...

Do they stamp plans? Correct it this time, then next time put notes on the plans emphasizing that it's an EGC and citing 690.47 and even stating than an irreversible splice is not required.
