Is AC wire plenum?

Im not really get it Nonmetallic cable? so how come Ac wire can be used in plenum location. But how come we have cat5 or 6 wires witch rubber isolation on it and we can have a plenum or not plenum

we run wires in apartment. now in few(3 bedrooms my wires passing thru 2 of them) locations they have a plenum ceilings for Ac. Our wires run thru this ceilings. Can they box my wires so i don't have to pull them out?

i think i got it. We can't run nonmetallic(exception if they are for plenum) cables in plenum location. But MC or AC(armored cable) they have metallic armor so they should be fine for plenum location.

If you're running romex/nm and you need to pass through a return you could sleeve your nm with flex where it passes through the return. If the ceiling is plenum then all the nm needs to be in a metallic raceway. They could box your wires off but it probably cost more than you fixing the peoblem

Actually my wire is Armored Cable (metal) but my all low voltage wires are not plenum(i didn't supply wire, and they change AC Drawing after we run this). We will probably box this wires everywhere w e have plenum ceilings. From now one i use all plenum wires for my application.
