Is disconnect necessary

I am installing a motor in a small room where the circuit breaker that feeds the motor is located in sight about ten feet away; is it necessary to install a seperate disconnect at the motor or does the circuit breaker meet that need in this case?

Sorry, my bad for not splainin', I meant no to the question of does he need a disconnect in addition to the OCPD.
