Is it the Weather???

It has been hot, hazy, humid and very thunder stormy the last week or two. With that, some of the work that I have been looking at is unbelieveable...not unbelieveable good.
Today was the highlight of it all though. A contractor called and asked for my assistance on one of his jobs, a very old house. I told him I would need to see the house (I do not think he wanted me to come there, but it was visit the site or no answer :wink: ), wow, the work performed by the previous person was so bad, we both got a really good laugh.
Maybe I will post some pics. I took about 1000 pics in the last two weeks.

P.S. It is lightning, thunder and pouring out now as I post this Thread. :grin:

FYI... due to recent changes in Photobucket, you can't use Opera anymore with Photobucket. You'll have to start using Firefox or drop back to InternetExplorer to continue to use Photobucket.

I told the homeowner that the work was most likely not installed by an electrician. She just bought the house and has not moved in yet...you know, renovation and all that.

She told me that they had made an agreement with the seller to upgrade the service. Guess what, it was not upgraded, it was messed up.

BTW: the weather

The part I liked best was the flourescent lighting. The work was first class and he used the best material money could save him...

He just screwed it to the ceiling here

maybe he worked in a tennis club...notice the remote ballast install...NICE!!!

Of course these will need to be switched, there were several of these switched from this location.

I know times are tough and we want to save the customer a buck, this may have stretched that philosophy a bit much...

I forgot, I was on an emergency power outage this past weekend (I am a little tired) and I have about 500 pictures from that job as well.

Oh, that was definitely done by electricians, all right. Just one electrician couldn't make it that bad. It would have taken several electricians, plural.
