(B) Not Covered. This Code does not cover the following:
automotive vehicles other than mobile homes and recreational vehicles

All recreational vehicles are included under the statement automotive vehicles in the scoping of the NEC.
A camping trailer falls under the scoping of automotive vehicles of the recreational type article 551

if IIRC, the post in question suggested this sentence from article 90 precluded the trailer from being covered by the code.

I suggested a trailer is not an automotive vehicle so the exclusion would not apply. that does mean that I think anything other than article 525 applies to the situation under discussion.

an RV trailer in the NEC eyes is under the heading Automotive Vehicle so how can you conclude another type of trailer that is not a mobile home or a RV is not viewed in the NEC eyes as a Automotive Vehicle

Camping Trailer. A vehicular portable unit mounted on wheels and constructed with collapsible partial side walls that fold for towing by another vehicle and unfold at the campsite to provide temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel use. (See Recreational Vehicle.)

Recreational Vehicle. A vehicular-type unit primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel use, which either has its own motive power or is mounted on or drawn by another vehicle. The basic entities are travel trailer, camping trailer, truck camper, and motor home.

Probably because there is no definition or heading "Automotive vehicle" in the Code. And nowhere in the definitions within Article 551 is any recreational vehicle, camping trailer, motor home, travel trailer or pickup camper referred to as an "automotive vehicle".

Article 90.2(A)(2) states that "Yards, lots, parking lots, carnivals, and industrial substations" are covered by the Code.

The Code definitely covers the OP's intended use.

Article 525.30 specifically mentions "trailers" and "trucks" for equipment bonding. All "equipment connected to the same source shall be bonded". The article states that the EGC of the supplying circuit "shall be permitted to serve as the bonding means. Article 525.31 covers grounding, and states the type of conductors to be used shall be defined by 250.118, and installed in accordance with Parts VI and VII of Article 250. If a GES was required, wouldn't it be stipulated here?

No other Article 250 requirement is mentioned. None should be, as the trailers will be powered by branch circuit feeders from a building service or generator, which have their specific requirements for grounding electrode systems.
