Is this allowed?

In a cafeteria, can I add a new receptacle to an existing 120V/20A circuit(#12-THHN), now being used as a housekeeping/convenience(janitorial and seasonal decoration display) to power a refrigerated beverage case, labeled as 7.5 FLA?
Or, do these type of units require a designated circuit?
