It may perform better than a flat panel but not better than a tracking flat panel. PV is instant. Half the time these cells will be in the shade.

Real or fake, it's an obsolete concept now. Google 'concentrating solar vs. PV' and see the commentary from 2-3 years ago about PV leaving CSP in the dust economically. And note how out of date the links in the other posts are. Don't believe any of those prices for present day PV costs.
