Assuming correct working space is achieved is it code compliant to install a service switch and a meter in a utility closet that’s in a bathroom?
it’s a 1 family house, 2008 nec with nyc amendments but the question is more about interpretation and logic of how to cathegorize the closet.
I say not possible but i would like to ask here.

Service disconnects are not allowed in bathrooms in dwelling units. 230.70 should be the reference.

I think the question is whether the utility room is considered in the bathroom. I would ask your inspector. My interpretation is if you cannot enter or leave the room except thru the bathroom then it is part of the bathroom... Authority having jurisdiction call.
