Isn't there a plastic bushing or insert you put where a conduit meets a J-box to protect insulation when pulling wire? After you connect a threaded conduit or nipple to a box, isn't there a part you can buy to protect the insulation of the wire you are pulling through it?

What shown in your photo is an insulated throat. What's wrong with using a plastic bushing? There are also these that are designed to be installed after the wire is pulled.

Yes. A plastic bushing.

There are also smoothly rounded metal bushings that are not damaged by the wire pulling operation, if the installation does not require an insulated bushing.
