Isn't there a plastic bushing or insert you put where a conduit meets a J-box to protect insulation when pulling wire? After you connect a threaded conduit or nipple to a box, isn't there a part you can buy to protect the insulation of the wire you are pulling through it?Screenshot 2025-05-29 132502.png
 
What shown in your photo is an insulated throat. What's wrong with using a plastic bushing? There are also these that are designed to be installed after the wire is pulled.
