Isolated ground from receptacle to water meter?

The NEC doesn't use the term "service ground terminal", but does require connection to a grounding electrode at the service equipment, clear as mud?

Does this book hold any weight.............
it says "service ground terminal" which was thrown back at me...............which also meant that it was ok to bring the isolated ground back to the electrode..... :- )

I see it as a book written by Mark Early.... (thing is it has the nec logo and is published by NFPA)

second blue section says but it is important........... "service ground terminal"......

Thank you.

Ha ..........
I'll fight my own battles.

Found this :D

The NFPA also publishes a 1,497-page NEC Handbook (for each new NEC edition) that contains the entire code, plus additional illustrations and explanations, and helpful cross-references within the code and to earlier versions of the code. The explanations are only for reference and are not enforceable.
