....still here, since 2007 :) I'm 66 in a month, and I'm planning to stay employed for at least 5 more years. At least that's what my wife says! Actually, her exact words were "When you retire, you're gonna have to stop the $25 lunches". Little does she know the lunches are sometimes $50, because I love to eat, and because of COVID. The part of the job I most enjoy is giving 70E training classes, because I get to reach electricians with information that could save their lives. I do four classes a year for Capital Electric, in MD and NC. I also do classes if the client buys that service after we finish an Arc Flash Study for a client. ✌️(y) Fact is I'll probably stay connected to this forum until ....:)

As much as I love my wife (I really do) going to work everyday was not a bad thing in some (maybe a lot of) ways.

I've been here since 2001 but had to re-register like many when the software changed in 2003

There are days where we both probably wish I was at work.
She loves retirement and would never go back.
Me? I could probably go back if I wanted to for 2 or more days a week.
But after my last stay in the hospital I'd rather enjoy what time I have left than work.
