Joining a Union

IMO, The sure way to get it.
Find other people in your shop that want to belong to he IBEW, Im sure due to the increase in pay and benefits you can get a majority vote.

That is a large assumption, the shops I have worked have repeatedly turned Local 103 away as we already had pay and bennies that matched the union shops and I have never been laid off while working for these shops.
