i currently hold a journeyman license thru the city of orlando. the expiration date on the card is back in 1995 but i have never received any mail to update it. where can i go to verify it is still valid or to get it updated? i called the city hall and they have dropped this branch of service many years ago.

1995? Wow... Don't know about your area, but most only give you a certain amount of years, then you're off the books. That's 13 years for yours; best of luck with that. Looks like you're taking a test again.

You people have no idea what a privelege it is to have state licencing instead of a payoff good old boys network like we have in new york where you need to have 20 different licences for a 60 mile radius.

Yes I do know what it is like. We used to have city by city licensing, until they passed a state license. Now we have one license and each city and town charges for "registration" fees. Some are $50 -$100 per year. One city close by is $500.00 initial and $200.00 per year.

Most politicians never met a tax that they didn't like.
