Will be going for my Masters, some questions I was not totally sure about on my journeyman's exam, could use some help finding relative code for these questions:

What cable type is not permitted in a Class 1 Div 2 location?

How much of a load is permitted on a single outlet in a 15A branch circuit ?

Can a sign enclosure be used as a conductor raceway?

What is the minimum residential storage battery size?

Thank You,

Depends on whether or not that single outlet (receptacle) is the only outlet (receptacle) on the branch. Also assumes that by outlet they mean receptacle outlet. Hard wired is different. Note that a duplex receptacle is considered to be two receptacles, but arguably only one outlet, since they are both at the same point in the wiring system.

AFAIK the minimum residential storage battery size is zero, since there are no requirements for battery storage in the first place. If it refers to emergency lighting, there is no residential requirement period. Unless maybe the home includes a 100 seat home theater.

Take your pick... any that is not mentioned in 501.10(A) & (B).... such as NM.

15A (GoldDigger mentioned some of the finer points).

Yes... 600.5(C)(2).

Zero, as GoldDigger mentioned.
