I'm looking to take the journeyman's exam in Florida, I have over 8 years experience in the field. I have also attended an apprecticeship school but did not complete the program.
I live in Indian River County and I can not find any information about the journeyman exam. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

The journeyman exam in the state of Florida is provided by Thomson Prometric. The first thing you need to do is go to your local building department and fill out an application to sit for the exam. Once approved, they will give you the contact information packet to take the exam. Once you pass the exam, you go back to the building department and apply for the license. In Florida, it is called a certificate of competency.

Click on the PDF link for test # 20211 - 75%. This is currently the required exam.
