Junk or collectable?

It's an old Fluke meter. The price on it is $25.00. I thought maybe for nostalgic purposes I should buy, it but I'm not sure. :-?

If it works it may make a neat bench meter for your garage - if you have a use for such. But would not think it collectable unless in black bake-a-light with a dial. (I'm not old... But I learned this trade in the military on an old well kept meter like this - makes me nostalgic...) Or better yet a "woody". (Long before our time...)

No value as a collectable. I bought one for $5 at Hamvention. I tossed it; decided it took up too much space, obviously non-autoranging, etc.

Based on what surrounds it, not a collectable. There's a difference between "collectable" and "pack rat stuff."

I think we have about 10 of those in storage at the shop, unless we threw them away. Dime a dozen.

One man's junk, another mans treasure! These are not that uncommon. I saw about 40 of them still being used in a classroom recently. I guess they are kind of like our old Simpson meters in their leather case!

Yeah, but those old Simpsons have quite the hallowed reputation for their use, as analog low-impedance meters. The last thread around them almost talked me into buying one.
