hey guys , I need opinions . I'm thinking about stitching '' Master electrician " under our company logo on our company shirts.
im just really proud of my accomplishment , I didn't go to college, and feel like a new graduate .
I've been in the trade for 20 years , and will continue to educate myself more as our trade just keeps evolving daily .
do y'all think its corny to display a company title on my work shirts.
Its our family business and I pretty much in charge of 2 groups out on the field .

If the person who is wearing the shirt is not a master electrician, it could be considered false advertising.

Sort of thing done all the time for ASE Certified Master Technicians in the automotive field they also include any specialty certification patches too, so why not. If you have any significant customer contact it could be a good promotional tool for the company. Would check with the company first though and if its like a lot of the Auto industry the company is providing the uniforms and may have restrictions.
Is your name on the shirts to indicate it is just you and not every person working in the company, like the Auto shops?

Congratulations. 😀😀

Congratulations! Personally, I'm glad you're proud of yourself as you should be. I think get to stitching!

Congrats on becoming a Master Electrician. While I don't see any problem with you adding that to the shirt, and may help with your customer interactions, my question is whether it may cause any hard feelings with the crews you manage. Maybe I'm reading too deep.
