Kenetic Energy Light Switch - No Batteries or wires

Used these a lot and love them. I have one in a warehouse that is probably 500’ away. It’s inside a metal structure and line of sight and it has never failed to operate each and every time. I also have about 10 in an office building and they have been flawless. One of the few things I’ve used that I can say that about!!!
 
I would assume that pushing the switch runs some sort of micro generator that powers an RF transmitter.
Yes I worked as an automotive electrician for 20 years and automobiles use a galvanic battery or knock sensor which generates a voltage based on vibration frequency.
