I normally work in New Jersey but recently did a kitchen in PA. Do I have to Arc Fault all the circuits I ran? I did a Refrigerator, Microwave, two counter top circuits, a Range hood, Undercabinet refrigerator. In New Jersey i never had to arcfault them but is that required in PA? If so should i just get combos for the countertop? Micro wave, range and hood are within 6' of sink. FYI

Not sure. Dukes of Hazzard Pa has been talking about going with a state electrical license since my dad took his local license test back in 1964. Pa had adopted the 2017 NEC as of 2/12/22 after being stuck in the 2008 code for around 9 years. Philadelphia was in two code cycles until above date. Have to watch some small hick towns in Pa where where they have their own written and some times unwritten rules.I would talk to the AHJ. Found all the AHJ in all but the little towns to be easy to work with. Before the internet took me 3 weeks how to secure an electrical license in a very small hick Pa town. The towns think only electrical contractor was the person who approved new electrical licenses. Some townships in dukes of Hazzard Pa do not recognize any other cities electrical license making you take a four hour test. In Pa very easy to spend over $500 a year in licenses in your area. Philly makes you take a 10 hour or 30 hour if a boss OSHA course to get or renew an electrical license along with several months of foot dragging to them to finally issue a license. Pre pandemic took two coworkers 4 & 11 months to get Philly license after passing the test. Good luck.

As stated before PA is controlled by municipalities when it comes to licensing and code adoption. PA as a state has not adopted any codes.
I would advise to talk to the township you are working in (often times a third party inspection agency) and get the guy on the phone that will do the inspection and ask what they prefer (90.4). I wouldn’t worry so much about what code cycle they are using, but rather ask directly if you have a specific question. It is usually not a problem in smaller municipalities to call them and get someone on the phone in my experience.
